Scientist - Silicon Photonics (Technology Development – Device/Integration)

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of researchers to develop process technology platform for silicon photonics productization
• Work closely with renowned industry partners to commercialize IME’s cutting edge silicon photonics technology
• Responsible for technology development in compliance to project specifications and requirements

Requirements:

• A PhD Degree (Electrical/Electronic Engineering ) or equivalent with major strength in integrated photonic devices or integrated circuit design
• Good knowledge and experience with semiconductor manufacturing process module set-up, and process integration (Silicon, front-end-of-line process flow)
• Experience with semiconductor device measurement and characterization
• Knowledge on the following will be a plus:
• Cadence IC design tools encompassing ADE, Virtuoso–XL, DRC/LVS verification, and GDS generation or equivalent.
• Optics/photonics CAD tools or software for e.g. Apollo, RSoft, Zemax
